Back to the bench that is. Andy Reid has repeatedly stated that Kevin Kolb will regain his starting job against the Jaguars as he comes back from his concussion. Do I think he is making the correct choice? No, I do not. Michael Vick has looked spectacular the past two games. It’s even given me flashbacks of Vick in a Falcons’ jersey. Vick has put up ProBowl caliber numbers in two games; 459 yards passing (3 TDs, 0 INTS) and 18 rushes for 140 yards, not to mention he brought the Eagles back after facing a deficit against the Lions. I really hope Kolb can show me something against the lousy Jaguar secondary because he hasn’t shown me anything yet, if not there will be a quarterback controversy in Philly. Either way, I do believe Vick will be a starting quarterback somewhere next season. 49ers or Cardinals perhaps?
Michael Vick was announced as the starter at Jacksonville. About time. It was well deserved.
