James Willis is leaving Texas Tech to go to Florida. What is in store for Tech next?
James Willis has decided to step down as defensive coordinator at Texas Tech University before The TicketCity Bowl Game. Rumor has it that Tommy Tuberville let him go after Willis had discussions with a job at Florida. Some say Tuberville was smart about this before national signing day arrives. We will have to see. I know one thing, James Willis is a great recruiter and should wreck shop if he teams up with Will Muschamp in Florida. (Will Derek David follow him to Florida?) Tuberville has great connections and should be able to hire a quality defensive coach. I am intrigued to see who that will be.
